like the Tigris, Euphrates & the Nile Ganges & Indus rivers carried irrigation &silt which can produces rich land for agriculture. the world's tallest mountains to the north and a large desert to the east helped protect the Indus valley from invasion.
the Indus river flows southwest from the Himalayas to the Arabian sea.
challenges: like other civilizations the Indus valley had some challenges that the people in Mesopotamia did their river flooded each year. the floods didn't occur at the same time each year. they also faced some challenges by the winds the seasonal winds are called monsoons. there was also a dry air across the area and also heavy rains.
the things that is special about the Indus valley civilization is:
1. their writing system which is unfamiliar
2. they were peaceful they didn't have any war between them or other countries
3. they have sophisticated technology which means they had excellence engineer system during their buildings
4. they were familiar with the works of methodology.

. the Indus valley civilization also know as Harrapan civilization. which shows some of their cultures. some of the things that was during the Indus valley was Harappa & Mohenjo daro.
Harrapan was the main form for the development of agriculture,it was mainly used for the purpose of trade such as: copper & tin from the west, Gold,silver,timber from the north, semi precious stones from the south e.t.c...
Mohenjo daro: was one of the largest cities in the Indus valley there was also several settlements in the mohenjo daro.

The great Bath: the Indus valley had a system of bath. people took showers by pouring pitchers of water over their head, a small hole would be at the bottom so the water could pour out and into the streets.

large irrigation systems: this system helps them to bring water to grow their crop fields.
other trade technologies such as boats and carts were employed to facilitate trade.
